General Rules: • No smoking or vaping inside the yurt. • No pets unless pre-approved. • No parties or events. Only Pre-approved guests allowed. Quiet hours from 3am-7am. • Please respect nature—do not disturb wildlife or remove natural elements. Fire & Safety: • Only use the designated fire pit and never leave fires unattended. • Follow all posted instructions for wood stoves, heaters, grills, or any gas appliances. • Do not burn candles or incense inside the yurt. Cleaning & Respect for Space: • Place trash in designated bins. • Please place any used towels or robes in the laundry bins. Outdoor Etiquette: • Be mindful of noise levels—sound carries in nature. • If exploring, please stay in designated yurt areas. • The Hive spaces include several water features. Use at your own risk. No Lifeguard on duty. The Will will not be held liable for any incidents on our property. • Keep food stored properly to avoid attracting wildlife. • If you have a cooler and would prefer to keep it inside, there is a designated rubber mat for your use. • The Hive yurt area has a nearby working bee colony. Please refrain from disturbing bees at work. Additional Fees May Apply For: • Excessive mess requiring extra cleaning. • Damage beyond normal wear and tear. • Missing towels, linens, robes, or yurt items. • Unapproved late check-outs. By booking, you agree to follow these rules, respect the space, and agree to a waiver not to hold The Hive Yurt Retreat liable for any incidents that may occur. (Waiver to follow) Enjoy your stay! THE HIVE YURT RETREAT LIABILITY WAIVER & ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT This Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between the undersigned guests (“Responsible Party”) and the owners/operators of The Hive Yurt Retreat (“Retreat”). By booking this yurt, the Responsible Party acknowledges and agrees to the following terms for themselves and the rest of the yurt occupants in their party: 1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK The Responsible Party acknowledges that staying at the Retreat involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: Uneven terrain, falling branches, and other natural hazards. Water-related dangers associated with the private lake and hot tub, including drowning, slips, and falls. Risks of using the hot tub and sauna, including burns, dehydration, or slipping. Encounters with wildlife, snakes, insects, and bees, which may result in injury, allergic reactions, or other harm. Weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme temperatures, storms, or lightning. The Responsible Party voluntarily assumes all risks and responsibility for any personal injury, illness, or damage to personal property that may occur during their stay. 2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY The Responsible Party, on behalf of themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators, and others in their party during their stay, hereby releases, waives, and forever discharges the Retreat, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or in any way connected with their stay at the Retreat, including but not limited to personal injury, death, property damage, or financial loss. 3. SAFETY & RULES COMPLIANCE The Responsible Party and all parties staying at The Hive Yurt Retreat agrees to adhere to all safety guidelines, including but not limited to: Wearing appropriate footwear and exercising caution on the grounds and near water. Using the hot tub and sauna responsibly and in accordance with provided instructions. Refraining from feeding or approaching wildlife. Being aware of and prepared for potential allergic reactions to bees and other insects. 4. MEDICAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT The Responsible Party certifies that they and those in their party are in good health and have no medical conditions that would be aggravated by activities at The Hive Yurt Retreat. The Responsible Party acknowledges that emergency medical care may not be immediately available due to the remote location. 5. INDEMNIFICATION The Responsible Party agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Retreat, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, demands, causes of action, or expenses, including legal fees, arising from their actions or negligence during their stay. 7. AGREEMENT TO TERMS I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT AND VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO ITS TERMS. I UNDERSTAND THAT BY BOOKING THIS PROPERTY, I HAVE READ AND AM ENTERING INTO AGREEMENT WITH THIS DOCUMENT AND WAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE.
