Whether you’re here for a cozy couple’s escape, a getaway with friends, a family retreat, or live music under the stars, you’ll be right in the heart of the fun—no Uber required. Weekends bring the energy of live music at The Will (Fri–Sun), while weekdays offer a peaceful retreat perfect for relaxing, stargazing, and unwinding. With multiple yurts across the property, it’s also the perfect place for groups of friends, multiple couples, or family gatherings who want to stay close together while still enjoying their own private space. Step outside to soak in the hot tub, gather around the fire pit, stargaze, or simply relax and connect with fellow travelers. Your stay at The Hive is more than just a place to sleep—it’s an experience. Come for the atmosphere, stay for the memories. Yurt Gonna Love This Place! What to Expect During Your Stay: • Nature All Around – Wake up to the sounds of birds singing, the rustling of trees, and perhaps even a distant owl at night. You may even spot a roadrunner, a crane, or some deer in the distance! • Sights and Sounds- Take in your specially designed yurt with all its amenities, or grab a drink and a bite at The Will just steps away... and don't be surprised if the rhythm of live music drifts through the air. This isn't your typical quiet retreat- it's a place to tune into the energy around you. The Will of Waco hours: Friday- 4pm-Midnight Saturday- 4pm-1am Sunday- 12pm-8pm • Stargazing Haven – With minimal light pollution, you’ll have stunning views of the night sky. Bring your binoculars and take in the stars like never before. • Cozy Firepit Hangout – Gather around the firepit in the evening, toast marshmallows, swap stories, and enjoy the crisp night air under a sky full of stars. (Bring your wood!) • Outdoor Bathhouse Trailer – Just a short walk along a gravel pathway, our private, tastefully decorated 5 stall bathroom trailer offers a hot shower, sink, and toilet stalls—giving you the comforts of home while staying close to nature. Guest Access As a guest of our yurt retreat, you’ll enjoy full access to your private yurt, as well as a range of shared amenities intended to enhance your experience. These include: • A seven-person Hot Tub with bubbles, jets, and nighttime lighting • A six-person Sauna with a glass back view to our private lake • A cozy firepit area • Easy access to The Will backyard music venue (weekends only) The Will, our on-site outdoor music venue, has weekend nightly scheduled events. Also, every Sunday from 1 PM-5 PM, the vibrant vendor market is open for browsing and connection. (weather permitting) Entry to your yurt is secured with a keypad lock for your convenience and peace of mind. Though we encourage you to unplug and reconnect to nature, WiFi is available in limited form, as well as a smart TV that you can log into with your subscription services Other Details To Note At The Hive Yurt Retreat we want you to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, so here are a few Things to keep in mind before you arrive: • The Atmosphere- Our yurt property offers a cozy, communal feel, with yurts nestled in close proximity to one another. While you’ll enjoy the peace of nature, you may also catch the sounds of live music drifting from The Will, our nearby outdoor music venue (on the weekends), or even the bustling of your nearby neighbors. • BYOB – Because our property sits on a shared space with a bar, The Will, all yurts have a BYOB policy. All alcohol brought to The Hive property must stay on The Hive property per TABC rules. Likewise, any alcohol purchased at The Will property must stay on The Will property, also per TABC rules. Thank you for understanding! • Gravel Walkways – Our property features gravel pathways leading to the numbered yurts, bathhouse, and communal spaces. We recommend bringing comfortable shoes for walking around the grounds. • Stairs to Yurts & Bathhouse Trailer– Access to the yurts and toilet stalls includes stairs, so please be prepared for this during your stay. If you have mobility concerns, feel free to reach out for more details. • Natural Terrain – Our retreat is nestled in nature, so expect a rustic setting with uneven ground in some areas. Flashlights or headlamps can be helpful for navigating at night. • You may encounter some of our local wildlife during your stay including bees, insects, snakes etc Most animals keep to themselves, so simply give them space, and keep food sealed. Enjoy the peaceful setting and the beauty of nature all around! • The Hive Yurt Retreat has a nearby working bee colony. Please refrain from disturbing bees at work. We’re here to make sure you have a fantastic experience—let us know if you have any questions before your visit! General Rules: • No smoking or vaping inside the yurt. • No pets unless pre-approved. • No parties or events. Only Pre-approved guests allowed. Quiet hours from 3am-7am. • Please respect nature—do not disturb wildlife or remove natural elements. Fire & Safety: • Only use the designated fire pit and never leave fires unattended. • Follow all posted instructions for wood stoves, heaters, grills, or any gas appliances. • Do not burn candles or incense inside the yurt. Cleaning & Respect for Space: • Place trash in designated bins. • Please place any used towels or robes in the laundry bins. Outdoor Etiquette: • Be mindful of noise levels—sound carries in nature. • If exploring, please stay in designated yurt areas. • The Hive spaces include several water features. Use at your own risk. No Lifeguard on duty. The Will will not be held liable for any incidents on our property. • Keep food stored properly to avoid attracting wildlife. • If you have a cooler and would prefer to keep it inside, there is a designated rubber mat for your use. • The Hive yurt area has a nearby working bee colony. Please refrain from disturbing bees at work. Additional Fees May Apply For: • Excessive mess requiring extra cleaning. • Damage beyond normal wear and tear. • Missing towels, linens, robes, or yurt items. • Unapproved late check-outs. THE HIVE YURT RETREAT LIABILITY WAIVER & ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT This Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between the undersigned guests (“Responsible Party”) and the owners/operators of The Hive Yurt Retreat (“Retreat”). By booking this yurt, the Responsible Party acknowledges and agrees to the following terms for themselves and the rest of the yurt occupants in their party: 1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK The Responsible Party acknowledges that staying at the Retreat involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: Uneven terrain, falling branches, and other natural hazards. Water-related dangers associated with the private lake and hot tub, including drowning, slips, and falls. Risks of using the hot tub and sauna, including burns, dehydration, or slipping. Encounters with wildlife, snakes, insects, and bees, which may result in injury, allergic reactions, or other harm. Weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme temperatures, storms, or lightning. The Responsible Party voluntarily assumes all risks and responsibility for any personal injury, illness, or damage to personal property that may occur during their stay. 2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY The Responsible Party, on behalf of themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators, and others in their party during their stay, hereby releases, waives, and forever discharges the Retreat, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or in any way connected with their stay at the Retreat, including but not limited to personal injury, death, property damage, or financial loss. 3. SAFETY & RULES COMPLIANCE The Responsible Party and all parties staying at The Hive Yurt Retreat agrees to adhere to all safety guidelines, including but not limited to: Wearing appropriate footwear and exercising caution on the grounds and near water. Using the hot tub and sauna responsibly and in accordance with provided instructions. Refraining from feeding or approaching wildlife. Being aware of and prepared for potential allergic reactions to bees and other insects. 4. MEDICAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT The Responsible Party certifies that they and those in their party are in good health and have no medical conditions that would be aggravated by activities at The Hive Yurt Retreat. The Responsible Party acknowledges that emergency medical care may not be immediately available due to the remote location. 5. INDEMNIFICATION The Responsible Party agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Retreat, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, demands, causes of action, or expenses, including legal fees, arising from their actions or negligence during their stay. 7. AGREEMENT TO TERMS I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT AND VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO ITS TERMS. I UNDERSTAND THAT BY BOOKING THIS PROPERTY, I HAVE READ AND AM ENTERING INTO AGREEMENT WITH THIS DOCUMENT AND WAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE.
